The Creative Director, Writer has outstanding copywriting, content strategy and storytelling skills to help lead our creative team through customer and employee communications and digital product design projects. The Director will drive creative concepting and content approaches, including storytelling and voice and tone. The Director provides guidance to creative team members and partners with Experience Principals to fulfill design, brand and business goals while spearheading delivery that exceeds customer expectations. Ensures excellent delivery to clients by making key creative and user experience design decisions, managing risks and opportunities, and leading application of best practices within the team.
WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO:
Lead with a strong voice in presentation skills, campaign and brand messaging, concept creation and all communications
Collaborate with creative, technical and consulting teams to design and deliver products and services aligned with client needs and expectations
Oversee creative team, directing and approving work products
Work with the Point B marketing and sales teams to develop sales and marketing assets
Work with sales team to ascertain client needs and participate in the development of strategic and/or tactical proposals, as requested
Translate customers' requests into creative direction and ensures projects remain "on brief"
Support Studio growth through sales pursuits, RFP’s and pitches and contribute to development of creative portions of proposals
Establish creative reviews and feedback sessions with the experience team(s) and internal customer(s)
Collaborate with copy and design staff to assure correct strategic and/or creative direction
Mentor and foster career development and growth paths for the creative team in alignment with Point B and personal objectives

WHAT WE EXPECT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TEAM:
B.A. or B.S. degree preferred
10+ years copywriting, strategic and conceptual experience within the creative agency industry
Excellent leadership and people management skills
Strong digital portfolio site exhibiting copywriting skills through digital and traditional brand campaigns, product experiences, content and communications
Experience creating customer journeys
Success in B2B and B2C markets
Highly experienced with Adobe Creative suite & Microsoft Office suite
Familiarity with tools that blur the line between creative and development e.g. Figma, Sketch, etc.
Strategic thinker that can communicate ideas and concepts, articulating the value of both
Strong executive presence and business acumen
Expertise understanding and creating intersections of copy and design in digital worlds with deft skills of the written word
Experience and ability to balance competing priorities across a broad range of accounts/portfolios/practices
Ability to deliver results in an ambiguous and changing environment.
