Job Description

Through discovery, analysis, and design sessions, our Creative Director will help develop, structure, streamline, and track creative consulting engagements, as we continue to grow. Success in this role requires an empathetic approach to problem solving built on strong relationship and facilitation skills, paired with creativity and technical expertise. As the Creative Director, you will act as the key relationship associate with senior leadership at our client, as well as internal partners, and will be accountable for meeting the business and creative goals of the project.

  • You will support the overall growth and development of the Design capability within our Communications Consulting business
  • Use consultative techniques to gather requirements, assess client pain points, as well as lead due diligence and workshops
  • You will coordinate and facilitate working group meetings including post-meeting actions and follow-ups
  • Use business partners, as necessary, to create integrated solutions and value prop
  • Conceptualize, develop, execute, and maintain design concepts throughout all phases of a project
  • You'll partner with other team directors, designers, program managers, Marketing, Digital Strategy and business units to deliver high-quality experiences from concept stage through launch
  • Present creative strategies and concepts to clients, both internally and externally
  • Understand the client’s business, brand, products and their customers
  • Interpret customer requirements to deliver engaging, innovative, and immersive user solutions and experiences

Qualifications:

  • A validated, subject matter expert in the field of design, information architecture, writing, strategy, or production.
  • 7+ years as Creative Lead in Print or web environment leading information designers
  • 5+ years of experience with data-driven print communications such as statements, bills or complex direct mail campaigns.
  • Additional experience with digital customer experiencepreferred, but print is required
  • Customer-facing professional with ability to support sales process, develop project estimates and communicate design priorities to clients
  • Significant experience with customer communication redesign taking communications projects from strategy through detailed specification
  • Ability to communicate with technical teams to capture information and validate design concepts
  • Domain expertise with data and regulatory requirements of financial services or healthcare applications is helpful
  • Familiarity with data-driven composition tools (such as Exstream) is a plus
  • Collaborates in building client relationships by participating in market research, presenting creative internally and externally, and making contributions to strategic and tactical development
  • Demonstrated success in multi-tasking and delivering viable solutions in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple partners in global, matrixed organizations
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office and familiarity with creative workflow tools (e.g., Workfront, Jira, Trello, SharePoint, Basecamp)
  • Ability to demonstrate previous management and or mentoring experience; excellent presentation skills, including strong relationship and customer service skills
  • Confirmed expertise in time and project management
  • Demonstrate flexibility, commitment to team, a positive attitude and enthusiasm for developing and inspiring others by providing guidance and sharing knowledge
  • Strong judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills
