KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the client’s key Creative, Marketing and Merchandising leaders
  • Bring solutions forward to the client in order to grow their business
  • Set schedules to meet client deadlines
  • Use independent discretion to negotiate solutions that impact clients general creative strategy and goals
  • Collaborate with client team members to acquire all project information required to perform work
  • Mentor/Train other project team members
  • Develop and improve workflow processes to increase team productivity
  • Track profitability 
  • Conduct routine internal and external business reviews to make recommendations to optimize the creative strategies for both the client and BlueSoHo
  • Communicate upcoming schedules with vendor
  • Establish a strong understanding of our client’s products and their positioning in the marketplace as well as their business and industry as a whole
  • Lead and direct internal creative team to execute all project’s to client expectations
  • Production of highly versioned Retail advsertising pages and proofs
  • Creation, review and publishing of annotated print proofs
  • Final production change and alteration validation and review
  • Creation of advertising market breakdown and versioning of base ads for print
  • Show and review color with customer
  • File distribution and management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, communications, marketing (or equivalent)
  • 7-10 years of experience in an in-house creative or agency environment
  • Solid understanding of the entire creative and production process
  • Ability to maintain effective ongoing discussions and relationships with clients
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse creative team members
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to analyze challenges and make good judgments given multiple considerations
  • Proactive and disciplined time management approach
  • Basic understanding of business accounting; experience with standard software programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word
  • Knowledge of creating and working with templates and style sheets; including page formatting of copy, placing photos and artwork; producing multiple versions 
  • Proficiency in all Mac-based, industry-standard software programs including, but not limited to, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Experience with data-driven page production 
  • Knowledge of all steps required for the print process and an understanding of production methods to ensure designs can be produced for print delivery
