You will work within our IT Organization to support the sales team and sales systems on a global level. This includes extending and supporting Oracle CPQ, related SFDC functionality, and integrations within a large highly tailored SFDC instance. This team of programmers provides technical expertise in evaluating, developing, deploying, monitoring, and supporting systems and procedures that are cost effective and improve work efficiency.

What will you be responsible for?

  • Understand technical details of new CPQ capabilities and upcoming functionality
  • Review and evaluate new systems / capabilities offered by Oracle CPQ
  • Lead with business groups on evaluating / implementing new capabilities
  • Evaluate / architect solutions for integration requests from 3rd party systems
  • Work with the business on new capabilities associate with CPQ (E.g. Salesforce, Zuora)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Recruit and retain team members, including growing the F5 India team
  • Lead goals, resource development plans, and salary management
  • Define and implement industry leading processes and procedures
  • Approve and handle PTO and work from home activities
  • Coordinate end of quarter support activities

CPQ Platform Owner

  • Responsible for SOX compliance for CPQ platform, including defining and executing all auditing and vendor coordination
  • Mange CPQ platform upgrades, communicate maintenance with business and co-coordinate testing cycles for patching with Oracle
  • Responsible for monitoring and controlling user access
  • Focal for all security issues on the CPQ platform including monitoring and investigations
  • Responsible for all backups and system controls

Technical Manager for CPQ Projects

  • Lead the program team as the IT focal
  • Define resource requirements, acquiring resources (internal and external)
  • CPQ system architecture
  • Mapping business requirements into CPQ technical solutions.

CPQ: Improvement Intake and Development

  • Align to defined improvement prioritization and intake process
  • Define and support the Agile/SCRUM process for work intake and tracking
  • Work with business on advancing critical business changes
  • Track metrics on process and SLAs

CPQ: Production Support

  • Manage process of assigning IT tickets to resources
  • Act as a focal for customer concerns
  • Oversee complex issues / critical problems

Manage Technical Partnership with Oracle CPQ

  • QBR meetings
  • Customer Success Liaison
  • Assess New Functionality
  • Represent F5 Customer Advisory Board

How do you qualify?

  • Bring a BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years development experience and configuring complex systems (Oracle CPQ preferred) or implementing Salesforce.com solutions
  • You should also be able to demonstrate competency in scripting and/or programming in a select language (Java preferred)
