Country Manager will lead the implementation of SCSI’s strategy and delivery of services for a start-up operation in Monterrey, Mexico.

This role will serve as the primary point of contact between SCSI and the client, having the responsibility to implement different ways to achieve client expectations by planning and implementing systems and processes to support the client’s needs.

The Country Manager will provide support and technical expertise to business efforts that impact areas including: operations, labor, pricing, financialreporting, budget and forecast development, and new business ventures.


  • Plan, organize, direct and run the day-to-day operations to achieve high quality standards and customer satisfaction
  • Interface with the customer ensuring common understanding of customer supplier quality requirements
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationship within Mexico and North America
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and is able to work closely with and lead all levels of the organization to achieve business objectives
  • Assist the customer Quality Manager as the primary liaison between SCSI and the customer
  • In depth knowledge of Manufacturing, Quality, Planning, and Process design and implementation
  • Provide quality inspection and auditing results with suggestions and council from the customer quality manager using measuring tools and record of data such as SPC.
  • Create, maintain, and manage site quality policies and procedures in accordance with the company’s standard operating requirements
  • Accountable for the productivity and the profit/loss profitability of the site and for budget creation and management
  • Hire, provide training, and supervise the site’s employees
  • Manage space allocation, maintain the physical facility, and insure the capability of inspection equipment
  • Provide monthly metric reports of the site’s business activities
  • Motivate employees to perform job tasks that meet or exceed the customer and company expectations


  •  Strong knowledge, awareness, and understanding of Mexican and American culture
  •  Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Previous work experience in North America and understanding of Mexican culture or vise versa preferred (ex-pat experience)
  •  Must have developed executive level contacts in Mexico and/or North America 


  • Demonstrated knowledge of equipment PM
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mechanicalinspection tools, practices, and industry quality standards
  • Demonstrated knowledge of print reading, automated measuring equipment, and factory flow
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite—Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated communication, organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills
  • Demonstrated job diligence and attention to details
  • Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication skills with the ability to successfully communicate with customers and employees
  • Demonstrated ability in implementing and monitoring budgets and cost controls
  • Demonstrated ability in managing new projects to successful completion


  • Bachelor’s degreerequired; Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or Quality preferred
  • 7 to 10 years experiencerequired
  • Quality and Engineeringexperiencepreferred
  • SAP knowledge preferred

$100K - $130K
