What you'll do?
Provide estimated tooling and component costs for New business opportunities;
Identifying and quantifying cost factors, such as time, materials, expenses, tooling etc.
Visit supply base to understand and improve our cost models
Responsible for identifying and analyzing cost factors related to purchased components (i.e. Stamping, etc.)
Reading blueprints and technical documents
Evaluating the profitability and viability of safety system components
Recommending cost-cutting methods to increase profitability
Using computer software to prepare estimates and supporting documentation
Participate in proposal preparation for New business opportunities, sourcing and change management activities
Communicate with Buyers, other departments, engineers and project managers to resolve issues
What you'll bring
A 4-yeardegree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance or Business Administration with 5-10 years relevant experience is required.
