Manage all phases of corrosion control program developing AC Mitigation systems for pipelines sharing Right of Way Corridors with high voltage AC power lines.
*** Provide technical expertise to field-based corrosion supervisors and technicians for complex corrosion control issues such as stray current, remedial actions, AC mitigation, atmospheric and underground coatings, electricalisolation, above-ground surveys (close-interval survey, DCVG and ACVG), design for specialized or complex cathodic protection systems, and internal corrosion monitoring programs.
*** Review and provide feedback on remedial action mitigation plans resulting from in-line inspections, cathodic protection surveys, close interval surveys, and internal corrosion inspections.
*** Manage field teams collecting data on AC transmission lines, pipeline and environmental characteristics such as GPS coordinates, materials, AC loads, coatings, wire types, distances, soil types, pipe depths, various structures, and more.
