The Wholesale Credit Analytics and Solutions team (WCAS) is responsible for implementing key credit risk practices across the wholesale businesses, and ensuring consistency in methodologies within Wholesale Credit Risk. The team works across the Corporate and Investment Bank, Commercial Bank and Asset Management divisions, and is closely aligned with firmwide partners including Reporting, Finance, Model Risk & Development, Technology and the Regulatory Capital Management Office. We seek candidates with background in finance services, and strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. The output of the work performed by WCAS is regularly presented to the Firm's Board of Directors and Operating Committee, and reported to external constituents such as investors and regulators.

The areas of responsibility of WCAS include Traditional Credit Product (TCP) stress testing (CCAR/DFAST/ICAAP) and Basel RWA, developing the Firm's authoritative wholesale credit risk parameter data set, reserve/allowance management, development and implementation of an economic credit capital model, the design and integration of credit and capital limits at the total wholesale and line of business level, risk grading methodology, and the provision of strategic advice and solutions to the originating businesses. Responsibilities

  • Support the production, and perform the analysis and reporting of wholesale credit stress testing exercises for CCAR, ICAAP, and Risk Appetite.
  • Partner closely with quantitative research, and with the risk and finance stakeholders in the DCS line of business to assist in understanding variances, analyzing the profile of its loan portfolios and addressing ad-hoc requests. Primary responsibility is the Dealer Commercial Services (DCS) line of business but assistance across other businesses and projects will be required.
  • Own initiatives established to improve processes, controls or to enhance credit risk stress testing methodologies. Partner well with team mates and stakeholders to successfully complete these initiatives.
  • Support the loan loss allowance process for stress testing by reviewing results, producing variance analysis and presenting to senior management from the lines-of-business.

  • Experience in wholesale credit and knowledge of loans and lines of credit is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in the Python programming language is not critical but desirable.
