Position Description

Vantage’s Corporate Development and Strategy team works on highly visible, direction-setting strategy and acquisition initiatives at the corporate level across all geographies. The team is focused on identifying, evaluating and executing both organic and inorganic opportunities to drive shareholder value. The role offers significant exposure to senior management and our investors, which provides a unique opportunity for career advancement and impact on the strategic direction of Vantage.

Vantage is seeking a detail-oriented, initiative-driven, quick-learning Corporate Strategy Manager to own responsibilities across critical functions relating to Vantage’s organic and inorganic growth strategies. You will support broad company initiatives and interact with key internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely with our SVP of Corporate Development and Strategy and have high visibility with members of our Executive Teams in North American and Europe, as well as our debt and equity investors. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is capable of driving results without constant direction. You should have a professional-growth mindset and be willing to bring forth innovative ideas and methods that can benefit Vantage.

Essential Job Functions

• Perform analysis, build models, and support decision making related to strategic investment initiatives
• Drive and execute critical corporate decisions, particularly related to strategic expansion, competitive analysis and positioning, capital allocation and investment strategy
• Drive preparation of presentations for the executive team, Board of Directors, and other key stakeholders

Duties

• Support investment decisions in particular with respect to new market or regional expansion projects
• Evaluate competitor results, market dynamics and industry threats to develop insights to share with senior leaders and key investors
• Identify and evaluate new market opportunities including strategic regional expansions
• Support the development of new initiatives to increase market differentiation through customer needs, industry intelligence and new technology development
• Prepare materials for internal review and regular updates with the Board of Directors
• Make recommendations to the Executive Team regarding the company’s strategic objectives
• Additional duties as assigned from time to time by Management

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required
• 4+ years’ experience in either management consulting, corporate strategy or related fields
• Structured thinking, data driven with excellent analytical and modeling skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines while providing accurate and professional work product
• Strong communication, collaboration skills and adaptability
• Executive presence and effective communication skills
• Experience in Data Center and communications infrastructure sectors preferred
