Supermicro is seeking a superstar Corporate Strategy Associate to join our corporate strategy team. This position will play a key role in driving critical strategic transformation efforts focusing on financial planning, enhanced marketing, and maximizing profitability. As a Corporate Strategy Associate you will work on projects that impact business performance. While directly reporting to the VP of Strategy and Corporate Development, you will have opportunities to collaborate with members of the Executive team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The job responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Synthesize recommendations on financial planning and marketing strategies
  • Assist in developing and strategizing financial models
  • Direct involvement in company and industry research
  • Conduct analysis and keep track of data internally
  • Analyze and determine key insights from key business drivers, competitive environment, trends and operating metrics
  • Contribute to complex projects for senior leaders by quickly understanding context and developing a prioritized approach for resolution
  • Execute sophisticated quantitative analyses and advanced modeling which translates data into actionable insights
  • Communicate initiative findings to senior leaders by preparing polished presentations and identifying key takeaways
  • Contribute to larger corporate initiatives both on an on-going basis and on an ad-hoc basis


  • MBA, CFA, CPA or undergraduatedegree with a focus on Business, Mathematics or otherquantitative fields
  • 3-5 years of experience in investment banking or related field
  • Outstanding proficiency in financial statements and accounting
  • Strong work ethic, driven and passionate about corporate strategy development
  • High intellectual curiosity, a strong work ethic and a team player mentality
  • Resourceful with the ability to take initiative and ownership of projects with autonomy
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, strong attention to detail
  • Strong PC skills specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills with positive attitude
