NextRoll is seeking a Corporate Operations Project Manager to work cross functionally to continually evaluate and implement opportunities across the business. You will become part of a dynamic, broadly exposed operational team, tasked with improving platforms, systems and processes cross-functionally.

You will lead multiple strategic and highly visible projects from concept to completion, identifying risks, opportunities and constantly evaluating the 'best-practice' path forward. You have proven project based management experience or business operations, are able to distill complex issues for a variety of audiences and are highly organised and responsive. Corporate Operations works with many teams at NextRoll and you will be a dynamic thinker, adept at establishing relationships with a variety of partners and doesn't hesitate to dive into unfamiliar tasks.

Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Operations, this is a critical role which will require you to familiarise yourself with all areas of the business.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams to create and lead project plans in accordance with project life-cycle methodologies and best-practices
  • Work closely with the Manager, Corporate Operations to support the greater Revenue Operations team (Sales Ops, Marketing Ops, Customer Success Ops, GTM Strategy and Planning and GTM Business Systems) to get work done and drive outcomes from deployment and implementation
  • Work with GTM teams (Sales/AM, Marketing and Customer Success/Service/Operations) and management to identify business needs, discover optimal project approach and define trade-offs and prioritization
  • Lead process and change management efforts across the organization and communicate findings to senior management and broader organization
  • Own project scope and completion of deliverables within project timelines
  • Deliver consistent project retrospectives to champion accountability and the culture of constant improvement
  • Responsible for communication and reporting of project activities across partner groups and tracking tools
  • Facilitate project meetings with various types and levels of collaborators
  • Address project issues by identifying and selecting a course of action by taking into account the constraints and objectives in order to enable continued progress, relying on data and analytics where appropriate
  • Establish alliances with other departments and teams to achieve commitment to the project

Requirements

  • Experience utilizing portfolio and project management tools preferably Asana and/or JIRA
  • Experience with collaborative project tools (ex. G-Suite: Google Sheets and Slides, Slack)
  • Ability to run multiple projects across varied functions, from inception to successful implementation
  • Advanced understanding and experience in a mix of project methodologies including waterfall, agile, and/or hybrid
  • Strong collaboration, team management, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of organizational dynamics, operating expertise in a large and complex matrixed organization
  • Ability to quickly adapt/pivot to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Highly organized, detail oriented with an ability to draw conclusions from data and analysis
  • Established ability to organize and control project governance including outlining the roles and relationships between all the groups involved in the project
  • Effectively facilitate meetings, as well as, handle and resolve conflicts to achieve optimal team collaboration and performance

Functional/Technical Requirements

  • B.A or MBA
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification desirable
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience, ideally with a SaaS business, Project Management Organization or management consulting firm
  • Strong attention to detail and remarkable written and verbal communication skills, including capacity to effectively present to an array of audiences
  • Dynamic, analytical and process driven with a strong focus on understanding and exceeding customer expectations
  • Comfortable directing others in a team environment, as well as independently, and possess a strong sense of accountability and resolve in completing assignments
  • Proficiency utilizing project management software tools to support project plans, portfolio management, and document sharing
