The New York M&A group is looking for an associate with a minimum of two years of experience in private equity transactions.
Candidates must have a strong working knowledge of purchase agreements and other documentation utilized in M&A and private equity transactions. The role requires a candidate with strong interpersonal skills, a high degree of maturity, and a proven willingness to accept significant responsibility. Strong academic credentials and writing skills are essential. New York bar admission.
Practice Group Overview
Greenberg Traurig's Private Equity Practice has wide-ranging experience representing private equity firms in complex domestic and cross-border transactions in a variety of industries, including consumer products, aerospace, manufacturing, food and beverage, health care, financial services, distribution, and technology. We work regularly with regional, national, and global private equity firms advising them in connection with acquisitions, dispositions, financing transactions, and fund formation. We also assist and advise portfolio companies, management teams, co-investors, and other participants in all aspects of private equity transactions. Our focus is on serving all aspects of private equity firm legal needs, from purchase and sale transactions, as well as more broadly on portfolio company support, finance matters, fund formation, ongoing fund operation, tax analysis, and business reorganization and restructuring transactions.
