Primary Responsibility: Own and develop operational FP&A corporate functions across the entire international warehouse segment. Create forecast and budget initiatives to align regional FP&A team to develop a total company outlook and drive operational performance for all of Americold’s stakeholders. Prepare materials and communications for internal corporate partners and executive team. Participate and own Financial responsibility of Americold’s ROI program. Assist in the modeling, diligence, and integration of acquisition opportunities. Essential Functions: • Proactively analyzes the business and makes recommendations to leadership to help drive long term growth • Serve as subject matter expert on implementation of new analytics tools as well as providing guidance and training to FP&A team • Support build out of monthly business review meeting and budget presentations to executive leadership team • Oversight, ownership, and reporting of monthly operating measures and statistics for warehouse business segment. • Business partner to the regional FP&A team in all aspects of planning and analysis of their respective business. • Creator and owner of Return on Investment financial support, including executive presentation materials, financial impact analysis, internal reporting, and as a member of the ROI leadership team. • Support various corporate departments through Ad-hoc reporting of financial performance, operational KPI’s, operational metrics, and dashboards. • Assist in the financial diligence and modeling associated with strategic initiatives such as potential acquisition opportunities • Lead the FP&A integration for all acquisitions. • Produce annual budget and forecast templates with continued improvement through collaboration with regional FP&A team. • Provide insight to executive team during month end process, as well as weekly and monthly reviews to communicate business performance. • Support investor relations when needed. • Manage and develop corporate senior analyst of operations.
Qualifications & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and MBA • 5-7 years of experience in a Finance function (Finance, Accounting/Reporting, Treasury, Business Analysis) • Strong business acumen and executive presence. • Experience with financial and business intelligence systems such as SAP, Oracle, BPC, Hyperion, etc. • Developer/building experience within a data visualization tool (i.e. SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau, or Power BI) preferred but not required Knowledge & Employment Standards: • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong team player and able to collaborate very effectively in a highly matrixed organization • Self-starter with exceptional ability to identify and solve problems Physical Requirements & Abilities: • The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
