Job Description

The Corporate Counsel serves as a legal advisor to a Covance Drug Development business segment. The Corporate Counsel advises function leadership and managers regarding contract negotiations, dispute resolution, policy and compliance matters within the business segment, and contributes to the development and implementation of contracting policies and risk management strategies. The Corporate Counsel advises contract managers and function leadership regarding customer contracts, vendor contracts, confidentiality agreements, and other contracts as assigned under the supervision of Legal department leadership. The Corporate Counsel actively develops, supports and contributes to the continuous improvement of Legal processes and procedures including contractual templates, risk mitigation strategies, and function-specific legal research.
