The Controller is responsible for all aspects of the accounting cycles. Leads the execution and continuous improvement of processes focused around: purchase to pay, order to cash, inventory management, payroll, fixed assets and financialreporting. We are looking for a self-driven, dynamic individual with strong problem solving skills and a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
?Lead and coordinate the preparation and analysis of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
?Review, support and publish timely monthly financial statements.
?Act as liaison between Company and outside accounting firm for the annual audit matters.
?Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
?Experiencewith general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process.
?Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financialreporting
?Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
?Understands the functional aspects and data management tools of ERP system necessary to operate at all levels within area of responsibility.
?Coordinate and develop reporting and monitoring tools to provide data to support the various decision making processes.
?Manages treasury functions including ABL-related requirements as well as liaising with the admin/collateral agents of the ABL, Cash forecasting and liquidity analysis, Assist with management of cash flow, including review and signing of payable checks, credit cards and expense reports, Assist with various corporate programs such as insurance, foreign currency purchases and transactions.Manage company cash flow and spending activity.
?Evaluate and recommend to top management formal internal auditing procedures to strengthen financialinternal controls
?Implement procedures to reduce costs, and discrepancies and improve efficiencies and profitability of the company.
?Understand and support the alignment of tactical and strategic financial activities with the short and long term plan of the business.
?Assist senior management in the execution of special projects.
?Hire, train and retain competent accounting team members.
?Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
?Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Education and Training
?BS in Accounting required.
?Advanced degree, CPA or CMA preferred
?12+ years of overall combined accounting and financeexperience
?Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
?Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office, primarily Excel & Word is a must.
?Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
