CyberCore Technologies has an opportunity for an accomplished Corporate Controller to lead the accounting team. The role will oversee and manage the accounting organization and will be responsible for accurate financial close, reporting, accounting systems and policies, audit results and internal controls.

Location: CyberCore Corporate Office - 6605 Business Parkway, Elkridge, MD 21075

Job Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Oversight of all general accounting transactions and functions, to include maintaining the accounting system and general ledger, revenue recognition, financial close processes, cost accounting, treasury, cash management, tax, inventory, A/P and A/R
  • Coordination and preparation of accurate periodic financial statements, management and financial institution reporting
  • Establish and maintain policies and procedures, including internal control guidelines
  • Lead and mentor a team of analysts with varied backgrounds and experience levels
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, CAS and FAR
  • Oversee indirect rate development, compliance and prepare uncurred cost submissions
  • Coordinate and support external, government and tax audits
  • Promote continued improvements in processes, efficiencies and automation

Required Experience:

  • Strong analytical and technical accounting skills, ability to comprehend, analyze and communicate complex information
  • Excellent communication, leadership and outstanding interpersonal skills, ability to interact with personnel at all levels
  • Government contracting experience and understanding of contract types, such as FFP, FPLOE, T&M, CPFF and government and agency contract vehicles is required
  • Deep knowledge of GAAP, CAS, FAR and DCAA guidelines
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong revenue recognition experience and familiarity with ASC-606
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions

Desired Experience:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and Deltek Costpoint 7.0
  • Knowledge and proficiency in Cognos is highly desirable

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required
  • Ten (10)+ years relevant accounting experience working in the government contracting industry
  • Five (5)+ years of experience leading a team is required
  • Five (5)+ years of experience working with Deltek Costpoint, Deltek T&E, system administration and proficiency is required
  • CPA certification is highly desired.
