CDM Smith, headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, is one of the premier infrastructureEngineering, Consulting & Construction companies in the country as well as one of the largest employee owned firms in North America.

We are currently seeking a talented Corporate Controller who will be responsible for the overall direction of all financial accounting activities, functions, processes and systems, and oversight of internal controls for the company. The individual will establish and enforce financial policies and develop written procedures where needed.

Responsibilities will include:

?      Managing the monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes.

?      Overseeing general ledger and revenue departments.

?      Directing the accounts payable and payroll departments.

?      Leading the annual audit process; executive leadership and committees of the board participation

?      Documenting and implementing internal controls framework including policies and procedures manuals.

?      Maintaining deep technical knowledge of relevant accounting principles.

?      Evaluating and managing the organization, selection, performance management, coaching, and development of direct reports and the of the accounting staff.

?      Playing a lead role in ERP and systems architecture transformation projects.

?      Assisting with the preparation of the annual budgeting process.

Qualifications:

?      Bachelor?s degree in accounting or finance. Master?s degreepreferred.

?      Certified Public Accountant certification required.

?      10 + years of related accounting, finance or, equivalent experience in engineering, construction or services industry.

?      Including at least 3years of either managing special projects or supervisory experience.

?      Big 4experiencepreferred.

?      ERP experiencerequired,

?      Oracle preferred.

?      Some international experiencepreferred.

?      Occasional overnight travelrequired
