Dorsey & Whitney LLP is seeking an associate attorney with two to three years of experience (2015-2016 JD) to join the Corporate Department in our New York office. This associate will primarily work on mergers and acquisitions, private equity and securities transactions. Specifically, this associate will be expected to handle the following types of tasks:

- Drafting of acquisition, private investment, and securities offering documents

- Forming and organizing corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies

- Due diligence

The following qualifications are required:

- Two to three years of experience working in the business/corporate group of a large law firm

- Strong communication and writing skills

- Strong academic performance

- New York bar admission

The following qualifications are preferred:

- Investment funds experience
