Detailed Job Description:
The IDN Key Account Manager has the primary objective to grow sales for the Division's portfolio of products in and across Key Accounts which include Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) and other strategic accounts.
Responsible to sell the Division's portfolio of products within strategic accounts and serve as the guardian of the strategic customer relationship focusing on retention, penetration and net new customer selling.
Responsible for establishing and building senior-level relationships and leveraging them in driving new, profitable sales and protecting base business; understanding and assessing customers' business objectives, strategies and requirements; identifying innovative solutions to meet account needs; leading an internal team to maximize growth; overall account management including detailed account planning and sales forecasting.
Desired Education: College Degree -- 4 Yrs
Must Haves: IDN sales experience, people management, board room sales
Knock Outs: too many job jumps, not current calling on IDN's
Keywords: key account/corporate accounts, IDN's medical device
Sourcing Targets: device or diagnostics backgrounds, dealing with IDN's
Expertise in building IDN strategies and have heavy contract experience since that is 75% of the role
Present or previous direct people management
Board room level business acumen, these will be future leader bench roles, so we need A Players
Strong collaboration skills cross-functionally
