CEVA Logistics is currently hiring a Corporate Account Executive (CAE) located in Auburn, WA. The CAE will be responsible for developing and securing new business in the Denver market through the promotion and sales of all services and products to established and targeted accounts. This will be a true “hunter” role with a focus on the establishment and development of relationships and networks in Freight Forwarding.

 

In this role, the Corporate Account Executive will:

  1. Identify business opportunities and generate profitable sales in both new and existing accounts to meet and exceed new business revenue goals
  2. Assist in the development and implementation of sales plans that support increased sales
  3. Build strategic relationships with key contacts within customer organizations in order to understand opportunities for creating value

 

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

  • Cross-sell the company's suite of products and services in a global team environment
  • Monitor and review customer sales activity and make strategy adjustments as needed
  • Facilitate regular meetings with clients and relevant operations staff to evaluate performance and receive updates from clients concerning challenges and future plans
  • Work collaboratively with the operational staff at multiple sites and locations to ensure customers' needs and expectations are met
  • Assist in the development and reporting of competitive market analysis

 

Education and Experience:

  • High School Degree or GED required with the equivalent combination of work experience;  Bachelor’s Degreepreferred
  • Minimum five (5) years’ related in sales
  • Minimum three (3) years’ industry experience

 

Additional Skills and Experience that Contribute to Success:

  • Strong understanding of business beyond core functional expertise
  • In-depth knowledge of products and services
  • Demonstrated knowledge of sales concepts, methods and techniques
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to persuade, influence, negotiate and make formal presentations in meetings and training environments
  • Ability to develop strong business relationships within all levels of organizations, including senior level executives
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, employees and vendors
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications required
  • Basic understanding of business financial principles including P&L's, budgets, payroll, financialreporting and expense control required

 

Certifications and Licenses

  • Valid state issued driver’s license
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Proof of current automobile insurance
