Citigroup Global Markets Inc. seeks a COO of NAM Rates, Client Manager/Salesperson for its New York, New York location.
Duties: Drive the North America Rates Business by creating and implementing strategies designed to accomplish business goals set by senior management. Serve as a Head of Ecommerce strategy and a Chief Operating Officer responsible for optimizing Citi’s Ecommerce performance alongside trading. Oversee business preparation for major changes in regulation and the regulatory landscape, including defining technology strategy and resource allocation, and supervision of progress. Design and roll out of business strategy and new initiatives such as optimizing balance sheet usage and sales coverage allocations.  Oversee the technology roadmap and pipeline for front office sales and trading, prioritizing according to business needs. Develop relationships with external vendors, and negotiate appropriate cost structures on the business’ behalf.  Manage Rates e-commerce for North America (including 2 direct reports) to further Citi’s presence and success across electronic Rates markets.  Use analytics, statistics and data science to extract business opportunities and insights from substantial sales and trading data sets. Develop management strategies for specific KPIs to change employee behavior in the appropriate direction including optimizing balance sheet usage, maximizing internal trading, optimizing salesperson client expenses.

Qualifications

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, Economics or related field and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Trader, Business Analyst, Head of Strategy or related role in financial services involving Advanced Data Analysis and Statistics and Financial regulation compliance. 4 years of experience must include market-making and risk management experience in an interest rate product; identifying opportunities and executing strategies for increasing market share in Rates products; developing automated market-making models. At least 1 year of experience must include managing TechnologyProduct Roadmaps; Business Management, Technology Coordination and Data Science; Managing data analyst; and Business development and partnership negotiation.
