Key responsibilities:

  • Provide subject matter expertise, industry knowledge and team leadership for the Tech function.
  • Influence strategies to drive fiscal improvements and better business decisions in support of revenue and margin goals.
  • Drive alignment of strategies and execution across all capabilities in Converse Tech and ensure alignment to Nike Inc architecture strategy.
  • Drive a balanced approach to near-team goals (Win Now) while relentlessly focusing on longer term strategies (Creating the Future).
  • Coach and develop a leadership bench that can act as the leadership pipeline of future leaders for Converse and Nike.
  • Engage business stakeholders and partners to influence and drive best practices and innovative improvements to platforms, systems and processes.
  • Create multi-year roadmaps, execute and deliver to them.  Provide strong communication rigor to all functions at the global and geography level.
  • Work closely with domain architects to delivery to corporate technology goals and objectives.
  • Effectively manage priorities across multiple products, technical teams, and business stakeholders. Leverage strong meeting and workshop facilitation skills, and conflict resolution.


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required. 
  • Minimum of 12+ years’ work experience in a technology related field
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ work experience in B2B or E-Commerce related field.
  • Advanced leadership, and people management skills. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Must be able to interact effectively across functions and cultures. 
  • Ability to influence unpopular decisions while maintaining strong working relationships. 
  • Ability to critically analyze information & systems, creative problem solving skills & strategically plan complex organizational & functional interactions. Ability to manage multiple and changing processes and priorities.
  • Coordinate multiple and conflicting demands. Ability to meet deadlines. Organized and detail-oriented. Ability to work with ambiguity and try new solutions to existing or new problems.
  • Must have the ability to understand, design, & coordinate the implementation of new processes and systems.
