• Client and analyze requirements from both the customer's and the user's perspective. Be THE advocate for the user amid shifting and often unclear business requirements.
• Create effective speech user interface designs, including call flows, dialogs, functional logic, and prompts to match the established system persona.
• Create effective UX designs including speech interaction flows; functional logic; and both verbal and non-verbal auditory cues to match the established requirements.
• Assist in implementing these designs, interacting with developers, directing voice talents, and performing usability tests.
• Analyze performance of the user interface in the field with regard to performance metrics and caller experience, and recommend specific changes to improve caller satisfaction and transaction completion.
• Use your experience on your specific projects to augment our evolving body of best practices.
· 1-2 years of professional experience with voice user interface (VUI) design and development.
· Experience in leading the end-to-end VUI design process.
· Experience creating detailed VUI specifications, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
· Experience writing voice prompts and prompt strategy, including regional dialect variations.
· Passion for designing voice and speech-enabled interfaces and interaction flows across a variety of devices. Bonus points for experience with Entertainment application experiences or devices.
· Passion for shipping delightful consumer products.
· Must have some experience in designing natural language speech interface.
· Ability to bring persona, character and attitude to voice interface a positive.
· Expect candidate to have deep understanding, and unique insights of how consumers interact with devices via voice.
· Experience with voice or multimodal speech interfaces.
· Working understanding of speech and language technologies i.e. speech recognition (ASR), natural language understanding (NLU), and voice user interfaces (VUI).
· Professional portfolio of voice and/or multimodal designs.
· 4-6 Years of IVR application design experience
· Knowledge of speech recognition software applications
· Deep understanding of VUI design patterns and principles
