The Sutherland Chatbot Solutions team is forging the next generation of customer and employee engagement in conversational, AI-driven chatbots. We are a growing, multi-functional team in San Francisco that will solve user engagement challenges for well-known brands across the Fortune 500 and shape the chatbot category along the way.
As an Engineering Architect you'd be
•Bringing Conversational AI projects to life: Lead the team, define architectural/technical requirements, develop and improve the platform, integrate with other systems, collaborate with Sutherland Global and client teams to gather technical requirements, support, and educate
•Developing standards to ensure scalability, system resiliency and performance
•Enhancing tools and processes to accelerate development, improve teamwork, increase efficiency, capabilities, robustness, quality, etc
•Working with a diverse team across multiple time zones (in-house & offshore)
•Working with Data Scientists, Machine learning experts and external partners to drive improvements to the AI/ML capabilities of the platform
•Providing thought leadership on technologies, development and collaboration processes, industry standard methodologies.
We'd love to hear from you if:
•You have 5+ years of experience leading and building scalable web products, services and platforms
•You have experience in building large scale application architectures in complex environments
•You have experience with cloud-native builds working with API end-points, microservices and contemporary web architectures
•You have experience with modern dev/ops architectures and tools
•You have full-stack cloud infrastructure knowledge with appreciation of high availability systems across wide-ranging environments, including legacy systems
•You have prior experience across different working environments, including: agency/dev shop, enterprise, startups and innovation divisions a plus
•Prior experience with Chatbot/IVR, ML/AI development, messaging apps and platforms development a plus
•Prior experience with data science, ML/AI development, Amazon Lex, Google DialogFlow, meya.ai, Watson a plus
