Our Clean Mobility Division is looking for a Controls Engineer for its Tier 1 Production Facility at Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Within the organization, the Controls Engineer is responsible for Modifying and troubleshooting all equipment using company standard compliant software.

Process Control and process automation in a continuous process manufacturing plant.

Development, programming, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of PLC's, instrumentation and control systems

Develop and ensure deployment and support the users' network and will use systems to perform engineering tasks and electrical troubleshooting

Modify equipment programs ensuring safe and efficient operation

Provides production and operational support as needed and collaborates with other engineering and support functions within the organization.

Will work with the following Software:

Allen Bradley: PLC 5, Micrologix, Allen Bradley Drive Software, Communicaions Software

Siemens: Step 7, Win CC, Protool, Microwin, Tia Portal, Siemens Drive Software, SEW Drive Software, Lenze Drive Software, ABB Robotics, Fanuc Robotics, Siemens PG

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the Automotive industry
  • Minimum 5 years in PLC, Electrical and/or Controls Engineering
  • Bachelor's Degree required in PLC or Engineering
  • Proficient with technologies including but not limited to, Siemens S7/S5, HMI Software and Servo Systems
  • Experience with processes
  • Strong communication skills, ability to capitalize know-how and organize training
  • Ability to work in fast paced manufacturing environment
  • International mindset
  • Proficient level of English required
