DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Oversee and coordinate fixture changes in relationship to the mating product;
Performs all required maintenance of automation programs and make changes as needed;
Aids in the development of the automation continuous improvement;
Troubleshoot electrical problems using electrical schematics, and meters
Reports and makes improvement recommendations based on simulation results
Performs simulations as needed to validate performance requirements based on customer specifications
Complete responsibility in safety PLC procedures
Performs preventive sheet for all equipment installed on floor.
Supervises the line rate efficiency to getting a better result in the efficiency rate.
Develop the training program for maintenance employees
Supervises the robot operation to detect opportunities to reduce line cycle time
Design ladder circuits in PLC order to get a better result in line efficiency rate
Develop technical illustrations (isometric) as needed
Consult with customers, supplier and OA team members.
Develop off-line PLC, Safety PLC & PLS programming
Supports Operational Performance Metrics and meets targets for improvement.
Performs Special projects and other duties as assigned by the Manager.



Job Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE


BS in mechanical engineering and 5 years’ experience preferred or at least 10 years of job related experience/proven expertise;
Experience in supervising other employees;
Minimum years of related experience or specific experience (i.e. manufacturing environment)
Description of types of experience required to be successful in position (i.e., prior management or supervisory experience);
Involvement in process and procedure and what level of proficiency;
Exposure to specific systems and/or equipment.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES


Ability to develop, troubleshoot, maintain RS Net works Control net and Device net
Effectively able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Strong people skills with a willingness to empower the team
Clear Understanding of Lean Principles and Tools.
