This is a Mill Leadership Team position with responsibility for financial analysis and reporting to support continuous improvement efforts, financial planning and forecasting and internal controls to ensure SOX and GAAP compliance. The position also provides support for mill direction setting and strategic planning.

  • Oversee documentation and compliance with Sarbanes Oxley 404 requirement
  • Ensure Generally Accepted Accounting Principles are followed
  • Perform & direct financial and business analysis functions and controls
  • Provide business analysis and strategic planning guidance to mill management team
  • Lead the mill's financial budgeting, forecasting and standard setting process
  • Responsible for finance, sourcing and storeroom functions
  • Proactively and corroboratively work with mill management to develop mill improvement plans
  • Ensure the protection of assets through procedures which are consistent with corporate policies and/or other legal requirements
  • Review and monitor location capital spending including returns calculations
  • Facilitate the on-going learning, professional satisfaction and development of team members
  • Actively work with Storeroom, Maintenance and Operations to reduce working capital


  • BS in Accounting or Finance. MBA, CMA or CPA desired
  • 7-10 years manufacturing experience Paper industry experience desired
  • Ability to interpret financial data and standard cost concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization. Ability to mentor, motivate and delegate effectively to direct reports
  • Must have demonstrated line leadership experience & desire to succeed, with strong team orientation
  • Strong computer skills with emphasis in Excel and SAP
