We’re currently recruiting for the new position of Controller to help us manage our market leading growth and expansion. Our high growth, high profit PE-backed company is in search of a self-directed and experienced Controller to oversee all financial, accounting and reporting needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for budget variance management and financialreporting analysis, as well as the usual order to cash, accounts payable, accounts receivable and financialreporting. Additionally, the company is, and expects to continue to be, a serial acquirer. Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a fantastic opportunity for a professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is enjoys engagement in with a collaborative senior management team.

Basic Function: The controller position is accountable for the accounting operations of the company, to include the production of periodic financialreports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.

Qualifications: The Controller candidate should have 2-4 years as an Assurance / Audit with a regional accounting firm. A Bachelor's degree in accounting and 10-15 years of progressively responsibleexperience including time with a high growth SaaS technology company. Leadership and supervisory experiencerequired. Preference will be given to candidates with active CPA licenses and candidates currently with Technology companies.

Conditions: Primarily in an office environment. Will be expected to travel as needed to potential strategic acquisition targets to conduct due diligence. Periodic weekend or evening work is expected.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures that define our Net Suite instance
  • Manage sales commission and bonus calculations
  • Oversee the general ledger accounting department
  • Oversee the accounting operations; order to cash, control systems, transaction-processing operations, and policies and procedures
  • SaaS revenue recognition policy expert
  • Purchase Price Accountingexperience
  • Safeguard company assets


  • Issue timely and complete financial statements
  • Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations
  • Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics
  • Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management


  • Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors or the annual audit
  • Monitor debt levels and compliance with debt covenants
  • Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
  • Annual Valuation support


  • General Ledger Accounting team
  • Operational Accounting team
