North American Controller - $120-140K – Food Products Manufacturing - This company is well established in China and has been manufacturing in the US for several years. Appraise the company financial position and oversee, direct, and prepare periodic financial statements, cash forecasts, and earnings forecasts which accurately reflect company operations. Oversee and direct the development of company accounting policies. Directs subordinate accounting personnel in providing and directing procedures and systems necessary to maintain proper records and to afford adequate accounting controls and services. Function as a member of the Management Executive Committee and advise the company president on financial matters, as needed. Cooperates with other Management Executive Committee members in coordinating expenditure programs with cash flow. Direct activities relating to and prepare annual operating budget. Will communicate with mainland China owners and managers on a daily/weekly basis. MUST BE FLUENT IN ENGLISH AND MANDRIN/CHINESE!!!
BS degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent required; Masters degreepreferred. CPARequired!!! MUST BE FLUENT IN ENGLISH AND MANDRIN/CHINESE!!! Minimum of eight years of previous accounting, bookkeeping, financial and/or technologyexperience in manufacturing accounting. Previous supervisory experiencepreferred. Excellent knowledge of financial information analysis using spreadsheets, databases, and otherfinancialreporting software. Exceptional understanding of financial statements and the general ledger. Outstanding planning and organizational skills; ability to meet tight deadlines. Strong analytical thinking and quantitative analysis. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, financialreports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
