We need a self-directed and experienced Controller to oversee all financial, accounting, and human resources activities. The proper candidate will be responsible for budget management, financial analysis, payroll, forecasting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financialreporting. Key areas within the human resources department will also be managed by the Controller, including policy and procedure compliance and ongoing maintenance of HR practices. Founded three years ago, it is venture capital funded and revenues are just started. You will be forming the procedures for all future hires as need grows to add more accounting personnel. You will grow with the business and increased everything.
All operations are in the cloud, no paper records will be maintained. Netsuite and ADP (PEO). Prefer person in Salt Lake City UT area, but may go remote.
Participate in the development of and support the company?s strategic plans
Monitor the financial performance of the company
Compile and analyze financialreporting packages (Netsuite)
Input and manage data for operations and payroll (ADP)
Prepare monthly and annual operating budgets (software being considered, Budget Maestro)
Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with the company?s procedures and GAAP
Communicate financial metrics to senior management
Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
Manage the preparation of payroll for personnel (ADP)
Keep up-to-date on current HR trends (ADP PEO)
Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline
Quality, intensive accounting experience in a senior accounting or financial management role
Experience with cloud-based accounting software programs (Netsuite particularly)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Impeccable analytical and organizational skills
Self-motivated and self-directed, will work remotely at start
Ability to work closely with a senior management
