Bachelor's degree required. Operations Management, Plant Management, Production Management, Co-Manufacturing or Supplier management experience required. 7+ years Management experience in manufacturing plant operations, engineering, supply chain, and / or procurement. Strong business acumen, negotiating skills, and ability to effectively manage internal and external relationships. Proven track record of cross-functional project management leadership. CI skills. Superior Project Management skills. Solid problem solving skills. Ability to travel as required (approx. 35%) and can be higher at times. Career stability and career progression important. Must have worked for well-known consumer products company (i.e. not small companies). People from the industries of: Pharmaceuticals, Food, Consumer Goods will work well for this role.
Our client is a well-respected multi-billion-dollar Consumer Products manufacturer with well known, iconic brands. It has opportunities for a hands on, energetic Contracts Manufacturing Manager to operate as the primary contact with several Contract Manufacturers. Along with the Co-Manufacturing team, are responsible for ensuring supplier compliance to all policies and procedures, including meeting production schedules and ensuring that all products meets specifications and quality requirements. This is a liaison position between the plants and the external manufacturer. Will work with existing co-manufacturers / co-packers to produce goods in situations where our client's own factories do not have the capacity to produce the goods, or may have all the equipment needed, etc. This person will ensure the quality of the goods produced, help reduce costs, etc.
