Job Description:

WideOrbit is looking for a well-rounded marketer who is passionate about using data to drive content strategy. As the Content Marketing Manager, you will own content creation for WideOrbit solutions across all media verticals and leverage that content to support marketing campaigns that drive sales. The ideal candidate excels at creative storytelling and boiling down complex offerings into digestible and compelling content.

Here is what you’ll be doing:

  • Content
    • Own, develop and maintain a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience to WideOrbit marketing channels; website, blog, social media, offline events, etc.
    • Partner with members of the marketing team to create content that drives sales and increases conversion throughout the sales funnel
    • Grow new leads and increase sales pipeline velocity by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages and lead generation content
    • Optimize all content for SEO, lead conversion and engagement
  • Marketing Automation & Tracking
    • Utilize Pardot to develop and implement campaigns that drive strong ROI
    • Measure and report on effectiveness of content marketing efforts and implement fresh, engaging tactics
    • Create A/B tests and define user journeys and customer experiences with product marketing and sales to understand and continually refine how inbound marketing activity converts customers
  • Design & Website
    • Own and maintain the WideOrbit website by collaborating with designers and developers to optimize for conversion and engagement
    • Work closely with design team to conceptualize and develop assets such as collateral and landing pages for marketing programs
    • Manage content posting and updates while ensuring every piece is tracked properly
  • Project Management
    • Oversee and manage content projects from concept to completion
    • Work cross functionally and get approval from relevant stakeholders to ensure that the scope and direction of content marketing programs are on schedule
  • Social Media
    • Develop and roll out social media strategy, maximize relevant social engagement, and run social promotions
    • Create and monitor social ad campaigns that amplify marketing efforts and increase brand awareness

Here is what we’re looking for:

  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Journalism, PR, or Communications preferred
  • 5 + years of experience in Content Marketing, Advertising, Social Media or Digital Marketing experience
  • Track record of creating content for different formats; website, email, blog, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.
  • Familiarity with SEO/SEM practices; experience working with digital marketing channels
  • Experience with social media platforms, including methodologies for social posting for different platforms
  • Proficiency using marketing automation and blogging software to share content and execute campaigns
  • Ability to review campaign analytics to inform all decisions and optimize content to drive more sales - experience running A/B tests is a plus
  • Fast-learner, skilled in managing multiple projects at once and exceptionally detail-oriented and organized
  • Creative thinker with the ability to use data to solve problems and recommend solutions
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and a positive work ethic able to excel in a callaborative team environment
  • Experience with Wordpress, Google Analytics, Adwords, Pardot and Salesforce, or similar systems
  • HTML/CSS, Adobe Creative Suite would be a plus
