The Content Marketing Manager works on the strategy, creation and launch of global marketing content. This position manages external vendors, as well as internal clients, in the creation and execution of all forms of content from written to social to video.


As Content Marketing Manager you will be responsible for producing or editing short and long-form content, including blog posts, educational articles, infographics, social ads and video case studies targeted to Verisign's audiences. You are an excellent communicator and a self-starter with strong business acumen.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of content development, journalism, editorial, social media and/or marketing communications experience.
  • Ability to understand, digest and articulate complex concepts for targeted consumption via clear and engaging content
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Keyword research skills and basic technical SEO knowledge, with ability to tag and link content as needed
  • Ability to work in a web content management system (CMS)
  • Bachelors degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing or equivalent work experience required.
