This exciting and new role as a Content Marketing Manager you will write, create, test, iterate, and distribute engaging digital content across a range of channels, including but not limited to automated emails/newsletters, landing pages, paid social media and search ads, mobile app messaging, assets for partner websites, sponsored and native advertising content. This person will be engaged with optimizing content according to industry best practices, including responsive/mobile design, SEO, and A/B or multivariate testing.

WHAT YOU’LL DO A successful candidate will be able to perform the following functions:

  • Develop and execute content strategy based on business objectives and marketing needs
  • Support the development of content marketing plans with outputs including brand voice and tone, audience personas, content ecosystems, and messaging frameworks
  • Write and create content for social media blogs, customer portals, email and account-based marketing campaigns, video scripts, infographics, press releases and articles for a technical B2B industry
  • Optimize copy on our website (page titles, meta descriptions, h1s, alts, anchor text, etc.) and/or write new SEO-friendly copy for both web and mobile platforms
  • Ensure all content created by internal teams or outside agencies aligns with broader strategy, channel best practices, audience usage, and trends
  • Conduct research on new platforms, audience behavior, and trends that will contribute to company thought leadership, presentations for clients, and strategic outputs
  • Synthesize trends, category data, and campaignreports to identify insights that can improve our content strategy and execution
  • Look at data, identify growth opportunities, and create a feedback loop to our content development queue that allows us to adjust overall strategy and stories and content types/formats to increase web traffic and conversions
  • Structure and report on content analytics and metrics by marketing funnel stage that map back to business goals


  • Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Advertising or a related field
  • 7+ years of social or digital media, content marketing and/or editorial experience
  • Experience in storytelling in a variety of formats and an understanding of how to create content that draws an audience
  • Deep knowledge of social and digital media best practices, trends, and new platforms
  • Strong relationship management skills - both internal and customer facing and executive to product management
  • Deep writing expertise and editingexperience
  • Experience working withinternal and external agencies and designers
  • Experience with marketing automation required
  • Experience with social campaigns highly preferred
