Your Role and Responsibilities
This role is in Southbury, CT
IBM is searching for an experienced writer to help with communications that are sent internally within the CIO organization. You will work alongside other communication designers, UX, and visual designers; working together to craft easy to read and attractive communication pieces . You will meet with teams requesting support to learn about the request and get an understanding of the content needed, using that information to create effective content. Content is written to meet a set of standards such as order, clarity, style, and terminology.
Role responsibilities include:
You will be responsible for ensuring content is understandable and easy to read, and clearly describes next steps/actions.
You are expected to collaborate with other writers, UX, and visual designers to build a consistent style for CIO communications.
You will work on comms/content utilizing Agile methodologies.
This role sits onsite in NYC, NY.

Required Professional and Technical Expertise
Bachelor's Degree Communication, Journalism, or a related field with experience in content writing
At least 5 years of experience in content writing with a focus on communications.
Experience working in an agile environment.
