RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
The mission of the Marcus Security Incident Response team is to investigate and respond to security incidents which have a tangible business impact and actionable response.
You will work alongside industry leading technologists who have joined Goldman from across consumer security, technology, fintech, finance and quant firms.
The position is hands-on and requires a driven and “take ownership” oriented individual who is intently focused on execution. You will work directly with developers, business leaders, vendors, and partners in order to respond to events affecting the consumer business.

Automate Incident Response processes to reduce time to respond and increase event fidelity

Assist in creating security alerts and notifications

Assist in creating and developing tools, processes, and procedures for responding to security alerts


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR
BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or other relevant Computer/Engineering degrees
3+ years of experience as a security professional

Python, Powershell, Javascript, Ruby, Bash, Splunk

DevOps experience (Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Salt)

Experience with code repositories (GIT/SVN/etc.) and code deployment methods (Jenkins, CodeDeploy, etc.)

Experience with security automation tools such as Phantom and Demisto

Experience with cloud (AWS)
Experience with endpoint security tools such as Carbon Black, Tanium, Trend Micro, etc.
Experience with e-mail security solutions (Proofpoint, Barracuda, Ironport, etc)
Strong focus on customer experience and product usability
Ability to work closely across various teams on incidents an securityevents
