Himes Consulting Group is a growing business optimization consulting company located in Chicago. We help companies increase revenue and reduce operating expenses by improving operational effectiveness. 

We are looking for management consulting Sr. Managers withexperience leading process redesign, technology implementation, and organization change projects while building strong relationships with client peers. The role requires 100% accountability and the ability to provide a healthy combination of strategic leadership and tactical execution.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8 - 10+ years of experience developing and implementing high-quality business process, technology, and organizational solutions
  • Previous consulting experience in delivering successful process redesign, software selection & implementation and change management efforts is required
  • Ability to:
  • Lead technology implementation programs with multiple work streams, in addition to the business process change
  • Efficiently document and analyze client business processes, think critically about new and alternative operating models and develop recommendations to solve business issues
  • Design the project approach and develop the project plan to achieve the project objectives within a specified timeframe
  • Lead the configuration and implementation of package technologies independently
  • Demonstrate a highly professional image to our clients, and develop strong client relationships is required
  • Strong leadership and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Extreme-level of attention-to-detail
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PPT, Visio, Access)
  • Ability to travel50% to 75%
  • Role is as a player/coach -- someone that can lead effectively, while also rolling up their sleeves and contributing to the team

The successful candidate will have the ability to be professional and assertive while culturally fitting into a various client environments. BS in Business or MBA is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Define or redesign business processes to achieve organizational and project objectives
  • Lead fact-finding meetings with subject-matter experts; develop and recommend changes to current business practices; Critically analyze alternatives to current-state issues; develop process and procedure documentation
  • Contribute to the vision, evaluation, and implementation of technical solutions
  • Implement operations and technology solutions by owning and managing elements of the implementation; tracking action items; conducting design and implementation reviews; researching and resolving issues; escalating issues to appropriate authority; following production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards; identifying work process improvements
  • Maintain a working understanding of evolving technologies in given industries
  • Manage and communicate project status and open issues; prepare reports; identify, manage, and resolve issues; track and manage project budgets
  • Develop and conduct end-user training; map terminology and procedures to client's operating environment
