Global, award-winning IT services and consulting firm, seeks and experienced Senior Manager. This Senior Manager is a senior-level professional services consulting leadership role responsible for people development, engagement and business development in leadership. As a leader, the Senior Manager mentors Analysts, Consultants, Senior Consultants and Managers and serves as an Engagement Leader on Client Service Engagements. This position leads business development and client relationship activities operating in a high-paced team environment, as well as works on internal initiatives.
**Can work from a home office if open to about 30-50% national travel.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
? Serves as the day to day Project Manager on client engagements and owns the delivery of the client engagement.
? Develops new methodologies to support improved efficiency and enhanced client service.
? Responsible for approving invoices and managing client engagement financials.
? Leads business development and expanding opportunities within existing client base.
? Provides regular training and mentoring of both engagement team and assigned team of resources.
? Involved in recruiting and hiring decisions of new company resources to serve on engagements.
? On-boards and manages Project Team resources including managing their utilization targets.
? Is the final point of review and approval of client deliverables
? Sets the leadership direction for the client engagement and defines and manages the approach for successful completion of each engagement.
? Leads the preparation of workshop materials and co-leads workshop discussions.
? Reviews and approves Business Requirements Documents and Technical Design Documents.
? Serves as the lead in client best practice sessions and training sessions.
? Presents industry research and recommended best practices to clients.
Successful candidates will possess the following skills and experience:
? 5+ years of related experience with a management consulting firm, software organization or a minimum of 5 years industry experience in an IT or business operations, or related function. Prior Big 4 experience is a strong plus and candidates with this experience will be given first consideration.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management, Information Systems or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced degreepreferred.
Must have a technical background. Proven domain expertise in a company offering or industry vertical: ServiceNow, ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, Asset Management, Operations Management, Service Mapping, Infrastructure Operations/Implementation Services are pluses.
? Experience leading teams and managing people in a consulting organization or private industry.
? Prior experience with IT Application Development, Systems Integration, Managed Services, IT Strategy, Business Process Redesign, and/or Change Management a plus.
? Prior salesexperience in a consulting or software sales capacity with proven multi-yearsales quota achievement.
? Prior experience managing consulting engagement
? Experience managing large scale delivery projects and transformation.
? Experience as a Change Management Lead on a technical delivery
? Resource management experience
