Consulting Engagement Managers/Leaders lead one or more management consulting projects that design and deliver high quality services and solutions - translating ideas into action. Projects are located in the Washington DC metro area. Project Leaders spend time at client sites and also at our primary DC office. Ideal candidates bring an innovation mindset, experience managing consulting projects, and a desire to provide trusted advice to clients and stakeholders. Responsibilities include:

  • Manage teams supporting complex management consulting projects for the Federal Government, with a focus on mission and innovation - supervises/ manages people, tasks, and deliverables
  • Deliver outstanding client service, acting as a trusted advisor on change initiatives
  • Act as a leader in leading initiatives to implement the company's strategy, grow new business, and develop our capabilities
  • Work with great people, inspiring them to develop quickly

Required Qualifications:

  • 4-5 years of experience leading management consulting projects that drive mission results (e.g., human capital, strategy, process improvement, organizational change management, technology, etc.)
  • Want to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where they work directly with clients and on company strategic initiatives
  • Experience managing projects (client satisfaction, scope, budget, schedule, risk, and quality) and with formal project management processes, methods, and tools
  • Loves working with people and cares about their growth
  • Interest in homeland security missions and a passion for excellent client satisfaction
  • Proven skills in developing great client relationships
  • Critical Skills: Entrepreneurial spirit/experience in new business, strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and interest in working in a fast-growth consulting firm, not just working on one project
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required
  • Clearance: US Citizenship / Active security clearance
