Innovative projects that deliver cutting edge results do not run themselves. Project and Program Management within Business Support ensure projects run seamlessly, from start to finish. Our team manages projects or leads others managing projects — ensuring cross-functional teams work collaboratively and effectively. We oversee initial plans, setbudgets, track project activities and communicate milestones to key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Works autonomous where possible and is a self-starter who can independently or with general direction coach and guide team members on the value of agility as well as provide coaching for the Agile/SCRUM “how-to” steps
  • Supports a team of SCRUM Masters who are responsible for managing project activities in support of technical training learning experiences for DELL EMC Education Services
  • Identifies and establishes best practices for team project management/facilitation including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-up, sprint retrospective, etc.)
  • Establishes measurements to ensure teams mature in their quest to become high performing SCRUM teams, using trackable metrics
  • Is available and proactive to resolve impediments that may arise within discreet SCRUM teams as they manage the full life cycle of training projects from requirements gathering, design, training development, through learner deliverable creation
  • Ensures timely, quality, and smooth implementation of project activities in coordination with team and upstream & downstream stakeholders
  • Facilitates SCRUM of SCRUMs forum to capture what is working and what areas are flagged for opportunity as a means for continuous improvement, ultimately leading to overall team satisfaction/happiness

Essential Requirements

  • Provide support to team to ensure all impediments are addressed, allowing the team to proceed towards project completion
  • Uses agile project management tools to track team adoption and adherence to procedures and best practices

  • Works with ISO team to create and refine procedures adhering to established standards, processes, and methods to produce learning experiences that are world class

  • Stays abreast of current industry trends and new technology through professional associations, trade journals, networking, and associated training and seminars, both from the perspective of agile project management and modern adult learning

  • Articulates and coaches the full value of agile project management benefits, principles, practice and tools to the team and stakeholders.

  • Ensures a strong and seamless relationship by maintaining communications with leadership and the team

  • Certified Scrum master, PMI-ACP and/or PMP certification desired

  • Project Management Skills leveraging industry standard Agile/SCRUM methodologies

  • Agile Project Management tools including Axosoft or equivalent
