Job Description

Position: Construction Project Scheduler
Reports to: VDC Program Manager
Location: Columbus, OH
Salary Range: $75,000 - $100,000

We take into consideration a number of factors when preparing a compensation package for successful candidates, such as market location, experience, skills, and education.

The Construction Project Scheduler plays a pivotal role in planning and coordinating electrical construction projects. They are responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring seamless integration and sequencing of tasks to achieve project objectives. Working closely with project managers, field teams, general contractors, and suppliers, they collaborate to optimize project timelines, resource allocation, and minimize delays.

Responsibilities
  • Create and update project electrical construction schedules using P6, considering activities, sequencing, resources, and constraints
  • Establish accurate timelines for construction activities, accounting for dependencies and critical paths
  • Coordinate with project managers, field teams, and stakeholders to allocate resources efficiently, resolve conflicts, and minimize delays
  • Monitor project progress by collecting and analyzing data, identifying schedule deviations, risks, and opportunities for efficiency improvements
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of schedules, progress reports, change orders, and relevant records
  • Generate regular reports, presentations, and updates to stakeholders on project status, milestones, and upcoming activities
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in construction scheduling through continuous professional development

Your Expertise
  • Required: You have a minimum of 5 years proven experience in construction scheduling or a similar role
  • Bonus Points: If you have earned an associates degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
  • You are proficient in construction scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
  • You have knowledge and experience in electrical construction processes, methods, and terminology

Superior Industries, Inc. is an American manufacturing company headquartered in Morris, Minnesota.
