We're looking for a construction Project Manager. The candidate will be responsible for the completion of their projects within budget, on schedule, to the company's quality standards, and to the customer's satisfaction.

This position will report to either the Senior Project Manager and/or the Project Executive and will work together with the Project Superintendent. The right candidate for this position requires business management acumen and must demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and time management skills, as well as have strong communication and client service skills. They will work together with the Superintendents to find the right candidates for the job.


Essential Functions


  • Identifies and meets with potential clients, supports responses to RFPs, manages the buyout process.
  • Manages the financial aspect of the project including cost reporting, forecasting, Owner requisitions, payables, and subcontractor requisitions and changes.
  • Prepares monthly cost packages and assumes lead role during meeting
  • Manages Client and Architect relations and communications
  • Manages Subcontractors and Suppliers
  • Manages, prices and negotiates Change Orders
  • Plans and organizes project management staff responsibilities
  • Establishes project objectives and goals
  • Works with the Project Superintendent to control and monitor construction progress
  • Represents the company in project meetings
  • Prepares and maintains project schedule (as assigned)
  • Develops and maintains client and A/E relationships at the project level (business development)
  • Adheres to company safety policies including subcontract and insurance requirements and performing weekly safety walkthroughs
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate project team and direct reports
  • Performs Site Safety Inspections on their projects
  • Assist Project Executives with Project Engineer & Assistant Project Manager reviews (annual and 6months)
  • Assists in client interviews and project proposals

Required Education and Experience


  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management with a minimum of 5years experience within Construction
  • Thorough understanding of Timberline PM Software
  • Thorough understanding of Schedule software and logic
  • Thorough understanding of corporate policies
  • Thorough understanding of job cost reporting, billing and payable procedures
  • Thorough knowledge of contractlanguage
  • Highly proficient in all Project Engineering and Assistant Project Manager responsibilities according to company policies and procedure.
