Project Summary: WSP USA performs Construction Management services as the prime professional staffing consultant for the NYC School Construction Authority (SCA) at citywide locations. We provide personnel working directly within the SCA organization at various Construction Management positions. Projects range from renovations and upgrades to construction of new facilities. Services range from pre-construction through construction phase and closeout services.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage schedules and budgets
  • Provide interfaces with all stakeholders - contractors, consultants, schools & communities
  • Enforce project contract documents, codes, policies and procedures
  • Resolve issues related to design & construction
  • Work with architects and designers on records regarding change orders, shop drawings, submittals/approvals and other technical matters
  • Issue field memorandums and field directives
  • Review contract claims & advise senior management

  • Bachelor of Science/Engineering degree
  • 5 years of full-time construction management experience directly relevant to this role
  • Good computer skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
