We are looking to hire and place Construction Managers with a New York City Public Agency.
This position requires expertise in construction management as well as great interpersonal and leadership skills. Minimum 5 Years of Experience as construction superintendent or manager.
The Position requires :
· Administration and coordination of activities for the construction of new school buildings or the renovation of existing school buildings.
· Review design documents for accuracy and completeness to minimize Change Orders.
· Visit various construction sites to ensure quality and safe construction operations by the contractors.
· Assure the quality and high standard of performance by all contractors, consultants, vendors, etc.
· Coordinate various inspections for strict compliance to City Codes and conformation to contract document.
· Make decisions and take action in a timely manner to ensure timely completion of the construction projects.
Associate or Bachelors in Architect, Engineering or Construction Management a plus
