Our client is an industry leader in providing technology, services and solutions to market. They wish to hire a Consolidations Manager to assist with the month end consolidations process, oversight of the consolidations team, and other various projects.
Essential daily duties will include:
? Assist the Consolidations Director to ensure the
efficient, accurate and timely completion of month end global consolidations
processes through reviewing or completing (i) month-end recurring
consolidations tasks, (ii) HFM correcting entries submitted by the business and
regional controllers, (iii) the monthly management reporting package for senior
management, (iv) key quarterly tasks including the Consolidated Statement of
Cash Flows and Guarantor Financial Statements, and (v) periodic Government
?Partner with global cross-function teams including
Regional Controllers, Function and Segment CFOs, Accenture, External Reporting,
and external auditors.
? Define Sarbanes-Oxley requirements for processes and manage
compliance; define critical controls, develop and update process documents,
identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and effectiveness;
review process documentation and internal control testing to ensure compliance.
? Assist in significant ad-hoc projects including
streamlining existing processes and implementation of reporting structure
? Serve as a knowledge expert and assist cross function
teams in considering the consolidations implications of restructuring projects
and intercompany transactions.
? Serve as a knowledge expert related to the Company?s
HFM Metadata structure including internal and external reporting requirements.
? Assist in training and coaching global team members on
HFM and key consolidation tasks impacting the business.
? Provide support for internal and external audits
? Assist the Consolidations Director to effectively
manage and coach the consolidations team
? Help define and implement process improvements and new
processes considering business changes
?Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting or Finance
? Licensed CPA
?8+ years of related experience
?Experience coaching and leading others
? Prefer experience in Corporate consolidations and HFM
? Strong analytical skills, ability to research issues to solve
? Must be able to adjust and work effectively in a dynamic, changing
