Management Consulting professionals design and implement process and change interventions that integrate strategy, technology and people to enable process improvements that create value for clients.

Finance and Enterprise Performance Business Managers will be asked to lead portions / phases of larger projects focused on improving the Finance Function of a Resources-based client. Key area of focus is on corefinance operations and understanding underlyingprocesses in the various Finance andAccounting areas and how to improve thoseprocesses.

Person will serve as team member who can help a client understand current stateprocesses and propose improvements to suchprocesses, many times in the context of how a technology platform cansupport suchprocesses.

Job Description Finance Process and Operations professionals develop and maintain robust processes and controls to meet compliance requirements and stewardship of enterprise assets with efficiency and effectiveness. A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities: Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Closely follows the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near term goals. Interacts with senior management at a client and/or within Accenture on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach. Has some latitude in decision-making. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments. Decisions have a major day to day impact on area of responsibility. Manages large - medium sized teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture. Travel: It is our intention for our people to work where they live. However, in the context of our profession and serving our clients there may be times when you will need to travel.

- Basic qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of back-office finance operations across functions knowledge within Oil and Gas, Chemicals, or Utilities industry
  • A minimum of 3 years of consulting and/or internal process improvement projects
  • A minimum of 3 years of ERP experience
  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • Ability to travel up to 100% in US and Canada

Additional Preferred Skill Requirements:

  • Consulting experience, preferably with a Big 4
  • Applying knowledge of regulatory compliance and localizations
  • Prior sales experience developing responses to client proposals and participating in sales presentations to clients
  • Prior experience establishing and maintaining client relationships
  • Experience leading large scale transformation programs
  • Direct experience in creating business change using enabling technologies
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Ability to interact effectively with client executives, vendors and third party providers
  • Desire to work in a fast paced environment
