Configuration - Team lead - NRS - San Diego

Reporting to the Director of Professional Services, the Configuration Team Lead will have a strong background in HTML, CSS, and XML, and an understanding of ASP.Net, AJAX, JavaScript, and SQL (development skills are not required for the position). The position requires the ability to conceptualize, plan and implement home page layouts and workflows using XML driven configurations in our proprietary cMAX workflow engine (training will be provided). The Configuration Team Lead will participate in all tasks related to requirements gathering, analysis, and implementation of large enterprise implementations.


Supervise a team of 2 configuration analysts;

Provide estimates to the business on the total velocity (points/hours) available in each sprint;

Manage the SCRUM ceremonies related the configuration process (ex. Story grooming, daily standups, retrospectives);

Designs and implements new client implementations, project modifications and development, using our proprietary cMAX workflow engine;

Analyses, designs and automates client forms into intelligent web forms using our proprietary cMAX Workbook Designer;

Reviews the different options within client implementations and determines the best way to modify the system to meet user needs;

Supports and participates on business system analysis, gap analysis and process definition to enhance client implementations and system functionality;

Assists in the definition of client requirements;

Manage documentation and communication of daily and weekly configuration sign-offs;

Responsible for the branching and merging strategy in promoting configuration updates between multiple environments;

Manage and resolve all merge conflicts of deployment items;

Provide support during deployments in regards to setup, validation, monitoring, and the resynchronization of client data as needed;

Ensures web pages are functional across different browser types and conducts tests to verify user functionality;

Participates in delivery assurance reviews to ensure adherence to project management policies and procedures;

Participates in configuration of clients and deployments tasks and assures deployments are successful in target environments;

Assists in resolving moderately complex Production support issues;

Investigates and resolves matters of significance for end-user issues and escalates if necessary;

Documents home page layouts and workflows for Customer Service and Project Management reference;

Documents overview materials and specific definitions and tracks changes to the system;

Documents system functionality in help files for client reference.

Requirements and Skills:

Bachelor-s Degree or equivalent experience.

1-2 years of experience in HTML;

Proficient with version-control systems for both source code tracking and issues tracking, such as Bitbucket, TFS, Git, Jira;

Ability to work with command line (Git Bash) in conjunction to Visual Studios as needed;

Ability to conceptualize and work around the company-s branching and merging strategy

Strong analytical and problem solving skills;

Experience with the agile methodology, specifically through the practice of Scrum and Kanban

Web Design Certification or similar preferred but not required;

Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio, Microsoft Visual Studio, and Adobe including Acrobat Professional, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

Comfortable with heavy client interaction/conference calls;

Organizational and time-management skills to balance multiple clients at the same time;

Proactive and creative approach;

Ability to work with little supervision in a fast-paced environment to meet set deadlines.
