Responsible for supporting both Configuration Management and Incident Management functions in the NRO/COMM Corporate Application Office (CAO). Responsibilities include working as part of a team to manage and triage tickets for services and applications and assigning them to the approriate resposnsible contractor supporting the enterprise. Monitoring approvals and placing them in que. Running reports and facilitating meetings. Provide analysis of current processes and provide recommendations for improvement. May support system configuration changes specified by management and other functional groups through the Request For Change process. Operates configuration management and incident management tools (e.g.JSMART/GFORGE, ServiceNow, HelpNow, etc.). May provide support for configuration identification, control, reporting, and auditing. May perform tasks to ensure new configuration management baseline operating parameters are documented, comply with standard configurations, and are logistically sustainable. May assist in developing new configuration standards. May train requirement engineers in the use of configuration management tools and the implementation of CM quality standards. May provide guidance to less experienced team members.
