Job Description

Develop new computer vision/machine learning algorithms;
Adapt existing computer vision and machine learning algorithms to solve problems;
Our US team mainly works on improving the following aspects of computer vision application in offline retail:

a. Product detection, localization, and recognition
b. Semantic segmentation of retail scenes
c. Logo catching
d. Small sample deep learning for fine-grained classification
e. Models for retail scene priors and context aware recognition
f. Mobile recognition and shopper assistance
g. Cross-platform data augmentation and new datasets for retail scene understanding

Qualification:

Ph.D. degree in computer science or related field;
3+ years of experience with computer vision/machine learning;
Have experiences with image/video processing, deep learning, image segmentation, object recognition;
Have good communication skills and strong analytical skills;
Be proactive, responsible, innovative and able to work under pressure;
Good understanding of mathematical foundations behind CV/ML algorithms, such as linear algebra, probability, etc.
Good programming skills in Python/C/C++
Clear communication skills and desire to collaborate with others is a must.
