If you are looking for a career position where you will apply the latest computer vision research to problems of national importance, then our Raleigh division of ARA has an exciting opportunity worth considering. Not only will you be able to apply your expertise while continuing to learn, you will do it in a stable, collaborative environment that fosters team work, innovation, and technical excellence.
Our internal research team at ARA works closely with faculty and graduate students from the computer vision, photogrammetry, and computer graphics departments at Purdue University, the University of Tennessee, the University of North Carolina, and ETH Zurich. This position originates from a newly formed joint industry and academic team primed by ARA that is focused on geometric reconstruction of city-scale urban environments. The opportunity for career advancement and continual learning does not stop there. At ARA we continually identify cross-training opportunities and encourage staff to be involved in other R&D and software development programs of their interest.
